Motor current and energy on a machine
Inside a plant the question is CT ratio, a 4–20mA or pulse output, and whether the value lands in a PLC, an energy meter bus, or a small I/O module. It is not the same job as a 4G lift station in a field.
Electrical facts we will not guess
Supply voltage, number of phases, and whether a CT is already installed. A quote that invents a CT ratio is not a quote.
Whether you need amps, kW, or kWh. Those are different sensors and different register maps.
Send these
- Motor size and voltage
- Existing CT or energy meter, if any
- Destination: PLC analog card, Modbus meter bus, or a new I/O module
Questions buyers actually ask
Is this the same as a remote pump station?
No. Unmanned pump rooms over 4G are on sungenetech.net. This page is for motors that share a plant with an electrical room and, usually, Ethernet or a local PLC.
